Business planning is essential, one has to have a goal, one has to understand the potential pitfalls along the path to success and be prepared for them. Preparation prevents poor performance....very true. I am launching a new business this week and a degree of financial forcasting and ensuring that the basic legal protections are in place help to provide the right foundations for success. This is my second business in less than three years and I would always engage an accountant and a good commercial solicitor who understands the real world of business.
